Stefanie L. Savory

Stefanie Savory is an accomplished attorney and community leader dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate complex legal matters with confidence, compassion, and practical guidance.

At Melvin & Melvin, Stefanie’s practice focuses on estate planning, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care proxies, asset protection, Medicaid planning, probate and estate administration, guardianship proceedings, and adoptions. She works closely with individuals and families to develop comprehensive plans that protect their assets, preserve their wishes, and provide peace of mind for future generations.

Prior to joining Melvin & Melvin, Stefanie served as Supervising Attorney at the Hiscock Legal Aid Society, representing clients in Family Court matters involving custody, neglect, termination of parental rights, child support, spousal support, and family offense proceedings. She also supervised attorneys and support staff while helping ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services throughout Central New York. Her experience advising an organization regulated by the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) provides valuable insight into the legal, educational, and care-planning challenges faced by individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.

Beyond her legal practice, Stefanie is deeply committed to her community. She serves on the board of Leadership Greater Syracuse, is a member of the Women’s Bar Association of Central New York and serves as Chair of the Village of Manlius Zoning Board of Appeals and a member of its Codes Committee. Through her professional and volunteer leadership, Stefanie remains committed to protecting what matters most.
